If you follow these simple rules then it is going to be very hard for you not to side with mobile phone in this particular debate. with the added functionality, the ability to take your phone wherever you go, not to mention the excellent ability of smart phones to tie all of your requirements together, including social networking and movie making, it is hard to see the home phone as even being a competitor anymore.
